In this regard, the Prime Minister said that amendment of the constitution and legislation is the authority of the parliament and the parliament is the supreme institution, 24 crore people have given the mandate to the parliament to legislate.
The purpose of the proposed constitutional amendment is to provide quick and effective justice to the people, the consultation process will continue with all political parties on the constitutional amendment.
It was agreed in the meeting that Bilawal Bhutto and other senior leaders of the People’s Party will also play a role in the consultation, further discussions will be held with the political parties in the coming days.
