There should be one language, one curriculum and one education system in the country, Hafiz Naeemur Rehman

Amir Hafiz Naeem-ur-Rehman of Jamaat-e-Islami has said that a certain section is not ready to give up its privileges and education in government schools should be standard and free. He emphasized that the country should have one language, one curriculum and one education system.

Addressing the gathering, Amir Hafiz Naeemur Rehman said that most of the government schools do not provide quality education and 13 thousand government schools in Punjab are being handed over to the private sector. He said that the budget allocated for education is not being used properly for the improvement of education.

Hafiz Naeemur Rahman said that the Jamaat-e-Islami movement has started with a new determination and passion and quality education is not a charity but our right, which we will take away. He said that we will not leave our children at their mercy and education, justice, health and peace are the responsibility of the state.

Hafiz Naeemur Rahman further said that the state is not the name of any institution but the state is the name of the people. Describing Karachi as mini-Pakistan, he said that most street crimes take place there and bandits have been brought and imprisoned in the whole of Sindh, who are being patronized by big chiefs.
