On the issue of reserved seats, Speaker KP Assembly’s letter to Chief Election Commissioner

Speaker Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly Babar Saleem Swati wrote a letter to Chief Election Commissioner Sikandar Sultan Raja.

Speaker KP Assembly Babar Salim wrote in a letter to the Chief Election Commissioner that the Senate elections in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa have been repeatedly postponed, the decision of specific seats in the Supreme Court has been decided, the decision of the Supreme Court should be implemented in any case.

Speaker KP Assembly said in the letter that the Constitution is supreme and it should be followed, the decision of the Supreme Court describes the spirit and purpose of the Constitution, all institutions including the Election Commission are bound by the decision of the Supreme Court.

The Prime Minister and the Federal Cabinet approved the Supreme Court Amending Practice and Procedure Ordinance

Babar Salim Swati wrote that the Supreme Court has made it clear that the specific seats are the right of which party, non-implementation of the constitution is harming the supremacy of the constitution and law, the constitution is supreme and precedes all legal requirements.

Speaker KP Assembly wrote in the letter that my position is to put the spirit of the Constitution and the spirit of the law before the Election Commission, which has been interpreted by the Supreme Court as the last court.

It should be noted that regarding the allotment of specific seats yesterday, Speaker National Assembly and Speaker Punjab Assembly have written letters to the Chief Election Commissioner demanding that specific seats be allotted under the amended Election Act.
