Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif today inaugurated the anti-polio campaign at the Prime Minister House under which a 7-day campaign has been started across the country.
On this occasion, the Prime Minister started the campaign by administering polio drops and expressed his commitment that the federal government will work together with the provinces to eradicate polio.

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif said that today we have started anti-polio campaign and this campaign is starting under the supervision of a competent team. This disease will leave the borders of Pakistan and will never return.
He appreciated the role of law enforcement agencies during the campaign and said that we have to ensure that there is no polio patient from the country. Inshallah, our efforts to completely eliminate polio from Pakistan will definitely bear fruit.
The Prime Minister also thanked the international partners of anti-polio and said that we are sure that with collective efforts we will rid the country of polio.
