Gujranwala: Amir Jamaat-e-Islami Pakistan Hafiz Naeemur Rehman has said that 16 days are left. If the agreement is not implemented, the entire country will shut down and there will be a wheel jam strike.

Amir Jamaat-e-Islami Pakistan Hafiz Naeem-ur-Rahman while talking to the media said that if the Rawalpindi agreement is not implemented, the government will be responsible for the situation. Whatever our plan is, Shahbaz Sharif should not complain about it.

He said that the consultation with the traders on the 3-day strike is going on. The whole country will be closed and the wheel will also be jammed. IPPs committed 3 major frauds. The first contracts went wrong. Second, money is being collected for the electricity that is not being generated, and thirdly, no tax is being paid on the money that is being taken.

Hafiz Naeemur Rahman said that the governments of PML-N, People’s Party and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) provided protection to IPPs. They are equal participants in looting.

He said that the people will not bear the burden of the rulers and IPPs anymore. We are fighting for the right of the nation and will not even think of trying to block our way.

Amir Jamaat-e-Islami said that whatever relief got in Punjab is the credit of Jamaat-e-Islami. The actual cost of electricity should be determined and not for 2 months, the same tariff should be applied throughout Pakistan.
