Ravindra Jadeja, the all-rounder of the Indian cricket team and a part of the T20 World Cup 2024 squad, entered the field of politics.
According to Indian media, Ravindra Jadeja has joined India’s ruling Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). Jadeja’s entry into politics was announced by Indian all-rounder’s wife Revaba Jadeja, herself a BJP MP.
Earlier, many Indian cricketers including Kirti Azad, Mohammad Azharuddin, Navjot Singh Sidhu, Mohammad Kaif, Chetan Chauhan, Vinod Kambli and Manoj Prabharkar have turned to politics.
It should be noted that Ravindra Jadeja has scored more than 3 thousand runs and 294 wickets in 72 Test matches while representing the Indian team. In ODI, he scored 2 thousand 756 runs and took 220 wickets while playing 197 matches.
