Former US President Donald Trump discussed the ongoing controversy surrounding Jeffrey Epstein. Trump denied any personal connection to Epstein’s notorious island, saying, “Fortunately, I was not one of them,” while acknowledging that “a lot of big people went to that island.”
Trump addressed the potential release of Epstein’s client list, hinting that it “probably will be” made public.
When pressed on the delay in releasing the documents, Trump expressed openness to the idea, stating he would “certainly take a look at it” if given the opportunity.
The interview touched upon the broader issue of Epstein’s influence, with Trump describing him as a “good salesman” who attracted powerful individuals through his wealth and assets.
Despite the controversy, Trump emphasised his detachment from Epstein, reiterating that he never visited the island.
