ISLAMABAD: Strong winds and thundershowers are likely to occur in various parts of the country during the next 24 hours.

According to the Department of Meteorology, during the next 24 hours, somewhere in South Balochistan, South Sindh, while in South Punjab, North Balochistan, Upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Gilgit-Baltistan, Kashmir and adjoining hilly areas, strong winds and rain are likely to occur at a few places. is

Strong winds, gales and heavy rain are expected in South Sindh and Makran. However, the weather will remain hot and dry in most parts of the country.

According to the Meteorological Department, during the last 24 hours, Sindh, Kashmir, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Punjab, Gilgit-Baltistan and Balochistan received rain with strong winds and thunder in most places, while the weather remained dry in other parts of the country.

Highest rainfall in Karachi Quaidabad 39 mm, Sarjani Town 24 mm, Korangi 18 mm, North Karachi, Nazimabad 17 mm, Jinnah Terminal 16 mm, Faisal Base 15 mm, Masroor Base 13 mm, Gulshan Mimar, MOS 12mm recorded.

Karachi DHA 11 mm, Kemari 9, Gulshan Adda 5, Gadap 4, Sukkur 23, Rohri 22, Thatta 20, Mohenjodaro 19, Khairpur 17, Jacobabad 3, Thatta, Badin 2, Kalam 25, Malam Jabba 10, Saidu. Sharif 9, Patan 5, Balakot 2, Takhtbhai, Charat, Mirkhani 1, Khuzdar 16, Sabi 11, Ormara 7, Quetta (Samingli, City 6), Pasni 2, Go Pis 11, Gilgit 2, Garhi Dupatta 6, Attock. 5, Toba Tek Singh, Bahawalnagar 3, Rahimyar Khan 2 and Khanewal recorded one mm of rain.
