In the interbank market, the Pakistani rupee appreciated against the US dollar

The Pakistani rupee has recorded an increase in value against the US dollar in the interbank market at the end of the business week.

According to the State Bank of Pakistan, on Friday, the price of the Pakistani rupee has increased by 11 paisa against the US dollar in the interbank market, after which its new value has become 278 rupees 53 paisa.

In the open market on Friday, the buying price of the US dollar was recorded at 278 rupees 65 paise and the selling price was recorded at 279 rupees 75 paise.

On the other hand, in the interbank market, the value of the Saudi Riyal was 74 rupees 22 paise, while the value of the Emirati dirham was 75 rupees 83 paise. Likewise, the Japanese yen remained unchanged at 1 rupee 92 paise, the British pound closed at 367.34 after a decrease of 73 paise.
