Since last night, snowfall has continued intermittently on Babusar Top, the Karakoram highway is still closed at several places due to landslides.
According to the police, thousands of travelers and tourists are stranded due to the closure of the Karakoram Highway. Due to the blocking of the highway, there are long queues of vehicles on both sides. The Karakoram Chilas to Gilgit section of the highway is closed at 4 places.

The Diamar administration says that the highway will be restored and opened for traffic soon. It has been snowing intermittently since last night on Babusar Top. Heavy rains are falling in the upper areas of Diamar and light snow is falling on the mountains.
The communication roads have been affected due to inundation and flood situation in the rivers. 2 youths have been washed away in flood relay in Nayat Valley Lomar drain. Police say that one youth has drowned and another has been injured in the flood relay.
