Bangladesh’s victory guaranteed after Pakistan all out on 146

RAWALPINDI: Pakistan’s entire team went back to pavilion after scoring 146 runs in the second innings. This total means a mere 30 runs chase for Bangladesh to reach victory.

Muhammad Rizwan was the only player to have shown some effort in the second innings of the ongoing test match, with 51 runs. Seven players could not even enter double digits scores.

Captain Shaan Masood got out after scoring 14 runs, Abdullah Shafiq scored 37, Babar Azam 22, and Khurram Shahzad scored only 5 runs. Mehdi Hassan added 4 to the total.

Shakib Al Hasan dismissed three players.

Mushfiqur hits 191 for Bangladesh in first innings

Yesterday, Mushfiqur Rahim fell short of a double hundred with 191 runs. Bangladesh racked up 565 all out in reply to Pakistan’s first innings total of 448-6 declared on day four of the opening test in Rawalpindi.

Now, Bangladesh only needs 30 runs for historic victory against Pakistan.
