After the students’ ultimatum in Bangladesh, 5 more judges of the Appellate Division of the Supreme Court resigned.
According to a Bangladeshi media report, all five judges have submitted their resignations to President Shahabuddin through the Ministry of Law.

Local media reports said that Justice Inayat-ul-Rahim, Justice Abu Zafar Siddiqui, Justice Muhammad Jahangir Hussain, Justice Shahi Noor Islam and Justice Kashifa Hussain are among those who resigned.
On the other hand, the students have also rejected the nomination of acting Chief Justice and given an ultimatum to remove him.
