Nepra increased the cost of electricity by Rs 2 56 paise per unit.
According to the notification, the price of electricity has been increased due to fuel adjustment in June, the additional charges will be made from the electricity consumers in the August bills. The price increase will not be applicable to customers of Lifeline and K Electric.
