In Peshawar, the price of tomato increased by 40 rupees, in Quetta the vegetable became cheaper

Tomato prices have increased in Peshawar, the price of tomato has increased by 40 rupees in one day.

According to the official price list, the price of tomato has increased from Rs 120 per kg to Rs 160, while onion is available at Rs 110 per kg in Peshawar.

The price of lemon has been fixed at Rs 400 per kg, potato at Rs 100 per kg, ginger at Rs 640 per kg and garlic at Rs 380 per kg.

On the other hand, due to the closure of the national highways of Balochistan due to protests, the prices of vegetables have decreased. The vegetables produced in the northern areas of Balochistan are not reaching other provinces.

Due to the closure of national highways, tomato is being sold at Rs 50 to Rs 80 per kg, the price of onion has come down from Rs 200 to Rs 60 to Rs 100 per kg.

Cabbage is being sold at Rs 100 to Rs 150 per kg, pumpkin at Rs 80 to Rs 100 per kg. Dealers say that further closure of national highways will further reduce prices.
