Pak Suzuki started exporting vehicles to Bangladesh, Afghanistan

Pak Suzuki Motor Company Limited has started exporting vehicles to Bangladesh and Afghanistan.

This was revealed during the inauguration ceremony held to mark a major milestone in the journey of auto manufacturing in Pakistan.

In his welcome address, Pak Suzuki’s Head of Corporate Affairs, Shafiq Ahmed Sheikh, expressed gratitude and Federal Minister for Industries and Production Rana Tanveer Hussain, Federal Secretary for Industries and Production Saif Anjum, EDB CEO Khuda Bakhsh and Managing Director and Pak Suzuki CEO Hiroshi Kawamura welcomed other guests.

Increase in foreign exchange reserves of Pakistan by millions of dollars

It should be remembered that yesterday, Indus Motor Company (IMC) crossed an important milestone and started exporting vehicles in Pakistan. This announcement was made by the company at its manufacturing plant in Port Qasim Authority. It was done during a ceremony.

On this occasion, Federal Minister for Industries and Production Rana Tanveer Hussain emphasized in his statement that it is a matter of pride to see Indus Motor, one of the leading companies of Pakistan, contributing to exports.

The Government’s Automotive Industry Development and Export Policy 2021-26 aims to boost the automotive sector by encouraging the export of local parts and vehicles.
