Saudi Arabia’s National Center for Meteorology has said that several areas of the Makkah region will be under heavy rain from Friday to Tuesday.
According to the report of Saudi media, heavy rains with thunder are expected in Taif, Uzm and Al-Lasiyat areas of Makkah region.
Thunderstorm forecast in different cities of the country
The Saudi Department of Civil Defense has advised people to take precautionary measures, stay in safe places, avoid flood centers, valleys and low-lying areas.
The statement further said to follow the instructions given by media and social networking sites during rains.
